Problem

Catalyst: The Lucid Dream is a Live-Action Roleplay game that has been running for 10 years, weaving fantastical stories with improvisational interactivity.

However, its website was made of cobbled together bits of information with no designated place. It was impossible for newcomers to navigate, get their questions answered, or understand what they were seeing. Even seasoned players found the website frustrating and it was rarely used.

The sitemap in the footer was confusing and lacked valuable information that the players needed easy access to. It also contained only two live links, along with outdated information, rendering the whole thing functionless.

The topline menu was limited and it was hard for new players to find the resources they needed to get started with this game. It was equally difficult for seasoned players to navigate it.

The menu drop-downs were not organized in a way that made sense. The Prologues, written and posted as precursors to events, and Past Event Gallery were under the drop-down for the Staff & Contact section. The ability cards, called Memory Crystals, were hiding under the Rulebook dropdown, despite not featuring in the Rulebook. And, finally, the Journal Entries, between-event actions that players can do, was located under the Events drop-down.
